Pressing the hotkey does nothing.

Either you are using the wrong hotkey, or there is a hotkey conflict with another program. See the Hotkeys topic for more information.

FullSpeed seems slow when processing a form. Can it work faster?

This can happen if the macro's keystroke delay is set too high in the macro options toolbar.

Experiment with smaller keystroke delay values this way:  try decreasing the number by 5 or 10 units. If the macro works properly at that keystroke delay setting, decrease it by another 5 or 10 units and try again. Keep decreasing and/or increasing the keystroke delay until you find the smallest setting which still allows the macro to work reliably. After that, you may want to increase it by 5 units to insure reliability.

Help! FullSpeed is sending keystrokes to the wrong places and I don't know how to make it stop!

To stop a "runaway" macro, you can either (1) click in the window of another program, or (2) press Ctrl+Esc (the Control key + the Escape key).

The best insurance against wayward keystrokes is to save the data you've entered in the target application before running a macro. Then if there was a problem, you should be able to revert to (or reload) the saved data and try again.

FullSpeed adds blank lines to the bottom of my QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online forms.

The addition of a few blank lines is inevitable because of how FullSpeed processes the form when the repeat type is Repeat until "X" blank fields. You can minimize the number of blank lines added, by keeping the "X" blank fields setting small—i.e., 1 or 2.

FullSpeed works fine several times in a row, then the next time it may not work right, or may give me an error message. If I try it again it works...what's going on?

FullSpeed is somewhat timing sensitive, and other programs and background processes running in your computer system while a macro is running can sometimes affect it. Even if you have the macro's keystroke delay set to a value which works 99% of the time, once in a while FullSpeed may stop unexpectedly.

Try increasing the macro's keystroke delay setting slightly. If that doesn't work, sometimes restarting Microsoft Windows will fix the problem.

FullSpeed starts working, but then stops before it has processed all of the fields on the target application's form.

Do you have too many blank lines in the form? If the macro's repeat type is Repeat until "X" blank fields, will stop processing when it encounters the number of blank Item lines you've specified for the "X" blank fields setting.

FullSpeed is putting some results in the wrong columns.
or...
Some results aren't being shown at all.

Have you changed the layout of the target application's fields (added or deleted columns, etc.) since setting up the macro? That can cause it to write results in the wrong locations.

Another possibility is having target application fields which are accessible on some rows but not on others. This is a common problem in QuickBooks desktop editions when Inventory Part items are used:  the U/M field will be accessible only on rows where Inventory Part items were selected.

To test whether the same fields are accessible on all lines of the target application, use the Tab and Shift+Tab keys to move forward or backward through fields on different lines.
