The Allocation Features dialog is for controlling the allocation features of ManagePLUS Gold.
Basics
Accessing it
Select from the main menu, or click the Allocation button in the main toolbar.
Using it
• | Check mark Enable allocation features to turn on allocation features throughout ManagePLUS Gold, including the Allocation Information columns in data windows, allocation reports, etc. |
• | Choose the Allocation target or by selecting from among the available choices. |
| Currently ManagePLUS Gold only supports Classes as allocation targets, so this item is grayed/unavailable and cannot be changed. |
| Allocation target refers to the type of QuickBooks list items to which income and expense can be allocated. In addition to Classes (cost centers and profit centers), future ManagePLUS Gold versions may support Customers:Jobs as allocation targets, making it possible to consider individual Customers:Jobs as profit centers. |
