The main toolbar's buttons provide one-click access to many of the same commands you'll find in ManagePLUS' main menu.
 

Your toolbar may appear different from this one if it has been customized.

Buttons

Here is a list of available main toolbar buttons and their equivalent menu commands.

Some of the buttons shown below may not be present on your toolbar. See Customizing the main toolbar to learn about choosing the buttons you want displayed.

 

Opens a different ManagePLUS company.
Equivalent to: File > Open

Closes the currently open ManagePLUS company.
Equivalent to: File > Close

Opens the Select Accounting Period dialog, where you may select a range of dates to use as the active accounting period.
Equivalent to: View > Select Active Accounting Period

Displays the Chart of Accounts window
Equivalent to: Lists > Chart of Accounts

Displays the Classes window
Equivalent to: Lists > Classes

Displays the Transactions window
Equivalent to: Lists > Transactions

Displays the Allocation Features dialog
Equivalent to: View > Allocation features

Sends allocation transactions to QuickBooks (ManagePLUS Gold)
Equivalent to: Lists > Send transactions to QuickBooks.

Deletes allocation transactions from QuickBooks (ManagePLUS Gold)
Equivalent to: Lists > Delete transactions from QuickBooks.

Causes ManagePLUS to disconnect from QuickBooks
Equivalent to: File > Disconnect from QuickBooks

Exits ManagePLUS.
Equivalent to: File > Exit

Other Highlights

Main toolbar commands are mostly program-wide, as compared with commands on data window toolbars and report window toolbars which only work within their respective windows.
You can customize the main toolbar, choosing which buttons are shown on it; whether to display icons only, or icons and descriptive text; and so on.
You can show or hide the main toolbar with the View > Toolbar menu command.
